Personal Statement
I am a 22 -year-old student who is currently studying for the third year at The University of South Wales studying Advertising Design. I am a confident, friendly, hardworking and motivated individual who enjoys working in a team or on my own, having had experience in both scenarios. I strive to be quick and efficient and do all tasks to the best of my ability. I am very organized, methodical and forward thinking, making sure all equipment needed for my work is set in advance. I am looking to further my experience in the customer service industry and am looking forward to trying out new aspects in jobs.

During my work experience I researched and collated evidence and produced documentation showing a prediction of grades for year 10 students, as well as this I also produced an excel document showing my findings. My work experience left me experienced in using school office equipment such as a printer, photocopier and Laptop to help me achieve tasks set, I also have skills in Excel, Word and Powerpoint as I used them to assist in assignments given. I also worked in the classrooms where I made sure the correct equipment for pupils was readily available as they entered the classroom.
Dry Cleaning
Voluntary Work
I assisted a family member in their dry cleaning business, during my volunteering time I attended an induction for health and safety. My role at the business was to prepare dirty clothing for industrial steam cleaner safely and efficiently adhering to health and safety, I was then expected to pack, hang and label clean clothing accurately ready for collection.
Domino’s
Part-time August 2016-August 2018
I worked part time at Domino's pizza, throughout the course of my job I worked as in-store staff, the roles I was employed to do included slapping, saucing and putting the toppings on pizzas, taking the food out of the oven and cutting the pizza and preparing it to give out to a driver or to an in-store customer waiting for their order. I was also expected to stay back to help clean the store. My employment with Domino’s ran until August when I moved away to Cardiff for university.
Popworld
Part-time March 2019-August 2019
I worked behind the bar in Popworld open until close varying from 10pm-4am on a weekday and 3pm until 5am on the weekend. Through my time at Popworld I worked well under pressure dealing with different scenarios behind the bar with customers under the influence of alcohol and worked to keep a good calm attitude upon dealing with each problem I encountered. During my time there I was expected to work in a team, this helped develop my team working skills as I was able to communicate with a team. I was expected to do more than just one job, although I spend the majority of my time on the bar I was also expected to clean the club when we shut, sell tickets to customers on the door, promote the club by handing out flyers advertising events and deals outside, collecting glasses in a busy environment and getting a lot of glasses clean so we didn’t run out on busy events or weekends. I was also expected to stock up for the next day so changing the barrels and also stocking up the spirit section of the bar.

In my spare time I enjoy playing video games with my friends online or skateboarding when the weather is good for it. I am also a fan of digital art and regularly create my own digital illustrations. As well as this I also have a driving license and enjoy driving my car and have a general interest in cars.
